Unveiled in 2004, the Porsche Boxster 987 represented a major evolution of the first generation. At a time when sports cars were becoming heavier, more powerful and increasingly reliant on electronics, Porsche continued to focus on a simple formula: two seats, a mid-mounted engine, a fabric soft top and a direct connection with the road.
