1973 Lancia Fulvia Coupé Montecarlo: a one-of-a-kind example
The Montecarlo version was conceived as a commemorative car celebrating the legendary victory of Munari and Mannucci at the 1972 Monte Carlo Rally.
Inspired by the glorious 1.6 HF “Fanalone” and built on the basis of the Series II Fulvia Coupé, the Fulvia Coupé marked an era in Lancia’s history thanks to its bold design.
Our 1973 Fulvia Coupé Montecarlo is powered by Lancia’s characteristic 1,298 cc narrow-angle V4 engine, producing 90 hp and paired with a five-speed ZF manual gearbox.
Its first distinctive feature is the Azzurro Corsa Francia livery, with the iconic matte-black bonnet and boot lid; this is one of the rarest and most desirable configurations of the Montecarlo. Most examples were produced in Rosso Corsa Italia, while only a small number received the national racing colours dedicated to France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
Absolute uniqueness on the market
There are other well-preserved or restored Lancia Fulvia Montecarlo examples. None of them, however, can recreate the history of this specific car.
This is the car selected, purchased, restored and certified directly by the official FCA Heritage department, now Stellantis Heritage, as part of the Reloaded by Creators project. Through this initiative, the manufacturer selected an extremely limited number of historic cars, supervised their recovery and returned them to the market with official certification, and this is the only Lancia they presented.
The project attracted enough attention to be covered by national newspapers and specialist automotive publications, including La Repubblica, Il Messaggero, RuoteClassiche, Al Volante and AutoMoto.
The car was officially presented at Automotoretrò 2018 at Lingotto in Turin and was also displayed by FCA Heritage at the prestigious Techno Classica in Essen, where it represented the Reloaded by Creators project before an international audience.
In 2018, it was purchased by a collector, who preserved the car and its important accompanying material with almost obsessive care over the following years.

A provenance documented by official records
This Lancia Fulvia Coupé Montecarlo in Azzurro Corsa Francia comes with its complete paper archive, something impossible to find with another example simply because no comparable car exists.
