Produced for only 3 years, from 1966 to 1969, it had a global success, which catapulted it directly into the Olympus of famous cars, especially after being hired for the filming of "The Graduate", a famous film with Dustin Hoffman
This Spider Duetto Round Tail 1600 that we offer for sale, dates back to 1967. It has always been Italian, it still has its Black Plates, and it belonged to 3 previous owners
In 2020, during the lock-down period, it underwent a total and meticulous restoration, which involved all parts of the car: from the bodywork to the mechanics, from the interior to the engine, every single screw and every single bolt was brought as new as left from the factory. All respecting full originality in every single component
To date, this splendid Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 first series has traveled around 600 km since the restoration, and is in impeccable condition. It can tackle any distance without problems and can be driven with pleasure, still today giving a sense of freedom and light-heartedness to its happy owner
